At the Motorclub in Spydeberg

I am back were it all started – at the Motorclub in Spydeberg. Henning and myself have been competing with radiocontrolled cars for a couple of days. This is great fun, and it is awesome to see how real it is – compared to my “big” rallycar. We had to work on differentials and bumpers and the car’s setup, with the exact same result as we get on my actual rallycar. So – even here we are depending on good mechanics!

We have had some very nice days here in Spydeberg with my family and friends, and I think we have all recharged our batteries now.

SubaruVillage – Rally Norway

A lot of good food, Christmas gifts and plenty om time with my family. So far, christmas has been perfect. But, in between all the christmas-fun, I am busy planning activities during Rally Norway. Subaru Norway and PSSC are building a complete SubaruVillage outside Vikingskipet at Hamar. Inside you can follow the rally live, check out my old rally-cars, let the children enjoy the kidscorner, or just getting something to eat or drink.

But the most exciting part is the Gamezone, and it will be the best ever! You will have the chance to test the worlds best carsimulator and the latest edition of Playseat Evolution Solberg Edition. Or you could test the new Playstation 3 with Motorstorm. Even though the releasedate in Europe is not until March, Playstation 3 will be in our SubaruVillage during Rally Norway. Isn’t that something!?

Dinner is waiting for me now – but I hope to see every one of you during Rally Norway!

No 7 on my car in 2007

 

I will be starting with no 7 on my car next year. And no 7 must be my lucky number, I won the championship with this number!

We are now in Sweden, and ready for Christmas. Oliver, Pernilla and myself wish all of you a merry Christmas and all the best for 2007.

New tyres

For two days now I have tested my Subaru with BF Goodrich tyres in the French Alps, and I am very pleased. The tyres are feeling good, also the cooperation with the Goodrich-team seems to be working well. But it is a lot for me to learn. Goodrich has many different tyres, and even after two days of intense testing, there is still much work left. And of course, I had to work with adjustments on my car as well. It is quite a big task to get to know these new tyres as well as I knew Pirelli’s, but I have a good feeling! Chris will continue testing for two more days, and he has a long list of things that need to be checked.
