Petter is testing
Petter is currently testing in the French Alpes, in the area near Lyon. This is the first real test on the new BF Goodrich Tyres, and it takes place on roads that reflects the conditions Petter and Phil will be driving on during Rally Monte Carlo. During the test days, the team will come up with the best set up for the car for Rally Monte Carlo. In January a similar test will be done in Norway, to get the correct set up for Rally Sweden and Rally Norway.
Rally Monte Carlo kicks off the 2007 season, 18. – 21. January 2007. The rally is returning to Ardeche and the Vercors Mountains, with the servicepark in the city of Valence, a 350km car-ride from Monte Carlo. The rally will be back on ancient ground, but for todays drivers, all the roads are new.

Testing in winterconditions means very cold and long days, were patience is the magic word. The images is from a test in Sweden earlier this year.

Good luck, Petter! Although the new car isn’t ready for Monte Carlo, you just have to try to squeeze out everything possible from the 2006 model. And with the new tyres at least one factor is much better than last year!
Hope ypu are having fun testing for Monte Carlo Petter, will you let us know hoe the new tyres feel after the test compared to the old Pirellis??
Yeah i’d like to know how confident you are with the new tyres Petter, hope you get all the info you need out of the test!

Petter a good test it whas . the setting is that a other than with the pirelli’s? i think the car is with grip better or am i wrong? hopes your have good feeling with the car or bild a good feeling .whel have a good test and before christmas home petter. go go go Petter.
