Christmas

I’ve just arrived back in Monte Carlo after two days of testing in England, and I’m really confident in the new car. It all feels good, so I guess both the team and I can start a well deserved Christmas holiday now. Also I am very happy for Henning, and it is really great that he has signed with Ford.

This year we will spend Christmas Eve together with Pernillas family in Sweden, and we are all really looking forward to some relaxing days with a lot of good food and spending time with family and friends. And, of course, there will be presents! Always exciting to see if the ones you are giving away were a good match, and it is fun to unwrap the ones that’s for you.

I met a lot of interesting people when I was a guest at “Først og Sist” on friday evening. This is a talkshow that “everybody” watches in Norway, so I feld very honoured to be an invited guest. Mr. Thorvald Stoltenberg, who is the father of our Primeminister Mr. Jens Stoltenberg, revealed that he was a real war-hero. In 1961 in Hungary he risked his own life to save Hungarian refugees over to Austria. His story puts things in the right perspective, and there is no doubt, Thorvald Stoltenberg is the real hero!

Back in Spydeberg

Coming home to Spydeberg for a couple of days, includes a lot of interviews and TV-shows. Yesterday I was attending to a seminar in Kristiansand, but today I will be in Spydeberg. We started the day with breakfast at the mayors office, and both Henning and I will do the “Spydeberg-tour” together with a Norwegian magazine all day. You can read all about it next week I think.

Later today I will be a guest, together with Henning, at Først og Sist, a well know talk-show broadcastet at Nrk. At 0800 tomorrow morning I will be guesting a childrens-program called “Pysjpopbaluba”. For those of you that doesn’t have Norwegian TV-channels, I’m sure you can use the internet and find the shows on http://www.nrk.no/.

A great meeting at Prodrive

I left London early Monday morning for a meeting at Prodrive.

The whole team was there to present all ideas and solutions for next years car, which we will start using in Mexico. Also to see them all so determind and with such a hunger to succeed, filled me with a lot of confidence and great enthusiasm for next year.  

We havn’t had the easiest of years, but my oh my, will we have a great charge at the title next year!
