Petter’s corner
Summer is almost here and the 2007 rally season is almost half done. In the championship we are nearly in the same position as last year, but that is not were we want to be. A lot of work is to be done before we are at the top – were we should be!
Through PSSC I’m trying to give something back to all of you, for all the support you are giving me. But some of you have not registered your email, and it is very convenient for me to keep in touch with you all by email. All you need to do is to send an email with your name and correct address to info@pettersolberg.no .
To run a website, and a supportersclub is quite a challenge, but we are trying our best. We are constantly working to keep the site up-to-date, and giving you the latest info. Times are changing – and we are trying hard to develop the page to keep it interesting. Podcast from each event was meant to be the new “Petters corner”. Unfortunately RallyRadio haven’t been broadcasting for a while, and that means no new Podcast. I am crossing my fingers for them to back in time for Finland. And I want you all to know that I do read all your posts on the website, even in the forum.
I’am just done with testing in UK, and are about to leave for Greece.

thanks for your up date .
i thought maybe your at home into monaco to look the f1 race but your testing thats better.
Maybe you and the team find the things for what whas not good into italy.
I hope with this test that you can made the problems over and can closer to the top to Marcus,Mikkio,Loeb.

Are you intrest into f1 ? and so yes what is your favorite driver? maybe you find time to answher me.

Hey Petter, thanks for your new corner… Dont be worrying about the website, it is great just as it is. If we ever have any questions or queries we just post them in the forum, and Tone always does a great job in getting back to us. We were all so excited when you posted in the forum last week, we love going there and talking about everything thats going on. We hope rally radio will be back too, but if not then we’ll still be here like we were last weekend, and we didnt do a bad job on our own.. we just missed hearing you at the end of the stages with Colin.
Anyway, i hope the testing went well in England, and hope next weekend brings you much better luck Petter. Thanks again for posting to us, talk soon, Eileen xxxx

Thanks for updating us to let us know what is going on!! We really hope that things will turn around for you soon!!!!
As Eileen says we are quite happy with the site and the system and everyone seems to do well.
We are dying without Rally Radio. There is some sort of withdrawl for me… I have a serious addiction to Colin and Becs!! We miss not knowing what is going on and we miss hearing your voice at the stage ends. Sure hope they are back on soon!!!
In the meantime we’ll be here posting all during Greece! Good stuff and ridiculous stuff as usual! Thanks for reading it, sometimes I hope it makes you laugh and smile and surely realize how much we love you… and how crazy we are!

I am have simple note to you:.
. I believe that you in the past were leading at a higher speed . And your command was very fast .You also should lead quickly a high like the past.
It is not reasonable that( Hirvonen )is in the third position and you in the fifth position….You should be in the first position or the second position..only.
And in the end you are better than all( You are better than all of the drivers). And by all of the measures and the criteria . We do not forget the victories of year 2003 and the year 2004 .
And I do not forget that the great and amazing command in Japan rally2004.Really I am when I am sad from your non getting on the victory .i Go to my room and watch Japan rally 2004 ……..Really the happiness returns to once again.
Do you know that from the better rallies for you is Japan rally 2004 ?Only but for the presence of those damnable stones!!!!!
I wish that it returns those great days . And you can return really . Because you are the better ( you are the best along.

Petter : Just hoping after summer break everything goes better. I is really boring to see Sebastian and Marcus sharing the lead with you without a minimum chance. Do not know but I imagine Subaru seniors nust be asking why we lost the right way….. Thinking two years without a 1st place is too much for a team realy acustom to be there. I am unhappy too because bad luck follows you all the way. I hope it will change soon. You can be the fastest, you know that. I hope that your car will be more reliable in the future.

I saw you and Henning drive Richard Burns Rally on a simulator. I hope that you have time developing your own game, since it’s my only hope for rallying.

Bara så du vet jag sitter fastklistrad framför tv:n varge rally. Jag släpper inte blicken en enda cekund! Bara så du vet (många har ju klart redan sgt det, men endå) du är världens bästa rallyförare. Det är ju synd det där med bilen. Det är bara otur, och otur brukar vända!
