Day 1 – Rally Sardinia

Day 1 is completed, and Petter is 3rd, only 53,8 seconds behind the leader Sebastien Loeb. The team made some changes on Petter’s car during the midday service, and then Petter started climbing on the classification. Going into service he was 5th, and on SS4 he climbed to 4th and continued with climbing to 3rd overall on SS5. He managed to take more seconds on Mikko, who is currently 4th, on SS6.
Norwegian Andreas Mikkelsen went off the road on SS2, and retired. Andreas had to start the rally with a new codriver, when Ola Fløene got sick on his way to Sardinia. Swedish Maria Andersson arrived Olbia Tuesday night, just in time to make the recce.
Rally Sardinia continues with six more stages Saturday, first car is on stage at 0939.
