Greetings from Kate
Well – what a day!
We left very early at 6:30 to drive through Athens and onto the 1st stage at Schimatari. It was very hot + dusty, but there was a great atmosphere and the new car looked sensational. Then back to meet Petter in the Subaru hospitality. He looked in great spirits, especially with a lot of media attention.
Speaking of media attention, that included me beeing interviewd by a film crew, but after 4 hrs in a temp of 30 degrees I must have looked in a right state.
Wonderful lunch laid on by SWRT and then out to the finish of SS4. Got some great photo’s but nearly run over by Sebastien Loeb!!
Many thanks to Pernilla, Oliver and all of the family for making us feel very welcome, especially on the stages to support Petter. We both have had a fantastic day, but now a cold beer by the swimming pool is just what I need.

Glad to see you’re enjoying it over there Mum! According to Dad, the house yet to burn down while you’re away, although the dog’s been sulking. I’m keeping an eye out on the net for that interview, and I can’t wait to see the pictures, all ten million or so of them that you usually take.
Now, back to my nag-free weekend.
