Live From The Field

This is Petter today, in his bed with stomach pain and a fever. He was supposed to have an interview with AutoHebdo today, and then fly to Paris to attend at a FIA meeting regarding the future of the WRC. Instead he ended up in bed.

  12. Hello Petter !

I just see this photo, you’re not fine !!!

I meet you in “tour de corse 2008″, I was Marschall… Go to my website (www.fontanier.phpnet.org), I get more photo where we are together !

I drive in autocross french championship, and this year, my team organizes a race.

Do you want to go and drive with my sprintcar (120cv / 315 kg) for a show ? Nicolas Bernadi do it next year, and he was very happy after this experience !

The race date : 22/23 August 2009, near Toulouse, France.

    tell me if you want : 06 89 97 13 10.

Thanks and good luck for this season !
Congratulations for your third place !
Don’t stop to make me dream !!!

  13. Dmitry says:

    !!!Congrtulations!!!
Petter & Phill you are the best!!!
You are doing all possible: you have good concentration, good driving in this different and difficult conditions. Respect!!!
Please, try to save such progress on next rally.
I know fighting for the podium wont be easy. Gronholm is back and if Latvala wont be missing they manage to still the podium in Portugal.
The main thing for you try to be realistic. To show all people your stability crossing the finish line without any probems. Proving that trables was Subaru not YOU..
Then find more sponsors and then you can choose your car which can be much better and competetive not only for podium, because you can figting for the win..
    Wish You all the best!!!

  14. Dmitry says:

Petter, I wish you get better as soon s possible.
Try to relax, because you”ll have to do a lot..
to have an interview with AutoHebdo, and then fly to Paris to attend at a FIA meeting and of course start to preparing to Portugal..
PS: So, good luck & strong health!!

get well soon petter……get some sleep and drink lots of water, shift that bug asap and get back in the driving seat.

stress doesnt help but you know thats a given in your position

we all know how hard you work so take time to recharge ok!

i can clean the car if that helps :)

  22. Rumbach Sanyi says:

Get better, Petter first of all. I have heard FIA made its decision about the future of WRC. From 2012, You will have to drive and we should see IRC cars because 2 litres turbo charged (plus intercooler) engines will be banned. I think these aspirated engines are and sound ridiculous. First B group was banned now A group. And now unfortunately “Z group” cars will come but they must be much cheaper than WRC ones. I think it would have been interesting to use “WRC” engines in IRC cars.

    Best again.

    Petter syk! Stygg sak…

    God bedring.
