Citroën C4 WRC for Petter
Petter Solberg will drive a Citroën C4 WRC, 2009 spec, in 2010. Two rally-cars are bought from Citroën Racing, and Petter will use both cars in the 2010 championship.
- After several, and tough, discussions with Citroën Racing, we have now come to an agreement, which enables me to really fight in top, says Petter Solberg. – We hope to have the full budget in place at the end of next week, and hope to present the 2010 Petter Solberg World Rally Team and sponsors just after.
The 2010 WRC starts 11. February in Sweden.

I see that Peter has had to put up with an agreement with Citroen for a 2009 model. I am very pleased that Peter requested Citroen even if they do not dare to give him a 2010 model. This could be a threat to their home drivers. Whatever it is nice to see that Ford could not follow Citroen this year either. I’ve been a fan of Citroen and put out my Ford Focus RS for sale on Finn.no and driving the bus the rest of the year. Good luck to Peter and Phil. Crush them!!!!!!!!.

My old Ford goes to the scrap merchant and I shoulde take the train until the coward in Ford realize that they have no drivers to compete with. Disappointed Ford drivers
Think about BMW or maybe Seat had lined up. Ford would likely end the fourth. I am disappointed. Anyway, I am very proud of Citroen who have acquired Petter and Phil as a backup and I wish them good luck in 2010.

I dont know the exact details of the deal but it looks as if Petter is after selling out to the big company “Citroen” to be their back up driver for loeb and sordo for the year. Maybe petters ambition is now diminishing as well as his talent.

Excellent Petter, we expect to see longingly this C4, a pity that here in Argentina the Rally will not be. We will wait 2011 to meet. Force and Forward!!!
