Our long haul containers arrived Auckland, New Zealand this week. And today we had them transported by a truck to our area at the Service Park.

Shell Eco Marathon

Fredrik and I drove 5 laps on the throttle field, to see who could drive the longest distance with 1 litre of fuel…… I won, with a few centimeters!

Together with Shell today, for the launch of Shell Eco Marathon. These two cars will go to Germany next week, and attend the Shell Eco Marathon with more than 3000 other students.

4 of 13 WRC-events…


…and Petter Solberg is now 2nd in the 2010 World Rally Championship. 4 events, 3 podiums and 53 points has moved the privateer all the way up with the Manufacturer drivers.

Next event is Rally New Zealand 7 – 9 May. Containers are on the way from Mexico, rally-car will be air-freighted Wednesday and the crew will head to Auckland by the end of this week.

Kjøredag i Madlaleiren

I dag har det vært kjøredag med ungdommen sammen med Rogaland Fylkeskommune. KNA Stavanger hadde organisert en liten rally-løype inne i Madla-leiren, og her fikk ungdommene en fartsfylt opplevelse som min kartleser!

Return travel from Turkey

Finally, all of Petter Solberg World Rally Team is back home from Rally of Turkey. No flights due to volcanic ashes from Iceland, made us go for alternative transport back from Istanbul; coach. Monday morning at 1000 our coach started the journey through Europe. 72 hours and 8 countries later, everybody was finally back home. Just in time to prepare for next weeks flights to Auckland and Rally New Zealand.

If there are flights next week, most of us will fly out to Auckland Tuesday.
