Petter with podium in Monte-Carlo
Petter and Chris third in Rallye Monte-Carlo.
After 5 days and 433 competitive kilometres, Petter and Chris today drove in to their first podium with Ford. Sebastien Loeb is the winner, while Dani Sordo ended second.
Rallye Monte-Carlo is Petters first event together with Ford, and with only two days of testing prior to the event, he is very happy with the result.
- This is just fantastic, says Petter. – I just love driving this car, it is unbelievably fast, and they say it is even faster on snow and gravel! It is so easy getting into rhythm with the car, and then the rest is just fun! Can’t wait to do Sweden next!
A total of 18 stages have been completed, with Petter and Chris setting the fastest time through four of them.
Next event is Rally Sweden, 10 – 12 February.

Congratulation for your great result at the Monte Carlo rally, that was very funny to see you again in the trail to the victory.
I would like to have an answer about your (very) bad tyre choice in the stage n° 12 of the col de Gaudissart (don’t you remember last year in the same stage?) and also on the other hand, I would like that make the same choise for the tyre like Seb Loeb and the team Citroën racing in the future rallyes.
By the way, last year you have many puncture and I would like that you adopt a very smooth(gentle)car control in the thread of the bend.Just do it!.

Hello petter i am part of a group of rally guys in romania that simply adore u.. I personally simpli love u.. U are a huge talent and one of the best drivers. Never give up is something unique that gipes me going day by day .. Hope to see u one day in romania maybe at irs rally of sibiu. Greece is nothing comparing to this.. Do you best, I believe that you can fight for the win or even fighting for the championship.. In these condition main priority for Malcom Wilson is Manufactures titles.. So I confident that is possible.. Like Gronholm in 2006-2007..))))))
