Generations for peace
The Generations For Peace concept uses sport to empower youth leaders from hostile regions, to act as agents of change to help instill peace. Generations For Peace will teach them sport, peace education and how to cascade the Peace Through Sport programmes in their own communities and regions.
Petter Solberg got the Generations For Peace Ambassador Programme into gear by being the first star to sign up, which he did during the first FIA World Rally Championship round held in Jordan, April 2008.
The global Generations For Peace Ambassador programme brings together world renowned and recognized sports stars, athletes and personalities to generate awareness about this inspiring initiative and convey the important messages about promoting peace, to children and youth today and for future generations.
