Kids
I got these questions from two 10. year old boys in Norway, and I thought why not publish both questions and answer on the website. There might be more children with the same questions.
What is the maximum speed of your car?
220 km/h. But the important thing in rally is to accelerate fast. Coming into a corner, you reduce the speed – and then it is really important to accelerate fast to get up the speed again.
How can you drive that fast – without crashing?
That is learning by doing. I have a crashed many times, and I still make mistakes. But it’s getting better.
Why don’t you live in Norway?
I live in Monaco because that is very convenient and close to rallies and also nearer to the places we use for testing the car between the rallies. It is also very exciting to live another country, to learn another language and knowing other people.
Do you make good drawings of your car?
No – not at all. I am sure all of you draws my car better than me!
Regards Petter

We would very much like to receive drawings of Petter, or maybe of you - if you have been to a rally. Or maybe you have a question about rally? Both drawings and question can be emailed to info@pettersolberg.no
